H-Evaluate
Integrity
A skills test only helps if the work is the candidate's own. H-Evaluate is designed to make cheating harder and to be open with candidates about it. Your team gets clear information to decide with.
Why it matters now
6%
of candidates admit to interview fraud, such as someone else standing in for them

Before the test
Checks before anyone starts
Some checks happen before a candidate sees a single question. They help you control who can start a test, and when.
Personal invites that expire
Each invite is for one person. You choose when it expires, and you can revoke it at any time.
- Where your plan includes it
Email confirmation on open links
Where your plan includes open links, each candidate confirms their email with a one-time code first. A bot check helps keep automated sign-ups out.
- Where your plan includes it
Open links you control
You decide how many people can use an open link and when it closes. You can switch it off at any time.
Clear messages for old links
If a link has expired, been revoked or already been used, the candidate sees a plain message, not the test.
Confirm your email
We sent a one-time code to your email.
Code
During the test
The same conditions for everyone
Once a candidate starts, H-Evaluate is designed to keep conditions the same for everyone and to make cheating harder.
A timer on our servers
The timer starts when the candidate presses Start. It runs on our servers, so it is the same on every device.
Answers save as they go
If a candidate's connection drops, they can pick up where they left off. Their answers are saved.
One test for the role
Once candidates start, the test for the role is locked. Everyone for that role takes the same test.
Told first, and asked
Before they begin, candidates are told what is checked during the test, and they give their consent.
- Where your plan includes it
Identity photo and camera checks
You can turn on identity photo or camera checks for a role. Candidates are told about them and agree before they start.
- Where your plan includes it
Integrity checks alongside the test
Integrity checks run alongside the test, and candidates know about them. They give your team information. They don't reject anyone on their own.
Why we don't list every check
We keep the details of how our checks work to ourselves, so they are harder to get around. Bring your questions to a demo, and we'll talk you through the options on your plan.
After the test
Clear information for your team
When a candidate finishes, your team sees the result together with any integrity information. People, not the test, make the call.
- Where your plan includes it
Integrity information with the result
Where your plan includes integrity checks, their information appears with the candidate's result, for your team to read.
A reason to look closer, not a verdict
Integrity information helps your team know where to look. Your team weighs it with everything else and makes the decision.
A record of sensitive actions
Your team's audit log keeps a record of sensitive actions, such as invites, changes and exports, and who did them.

Before you start
Here is what happens during this test.
- The timer runs once you press Start
- Your answers save as you go
- Some checks run during the test
Fair to candidates
Honest with candidates, too
Most candidates are honest. A fair test treats them that way and explains the rules up front.
Told what happens, and asked first
Candidates see their rights and what happens during the test. Then they give their consent before they begin.
Told when AI is used
Candidates are told up front when AI is used. Where you turn it on, they can ask for a human review.
Options for different needs
Candidates can change the text size, switch to high contrast or use a dyslexia-friendly option. A device check and a practice round come first.
Deletion on request
Candidates can request deletion of their personal data. See our privacy policy for details.
What we don't promise
No test can promise that nobody ever cheats. H-Evaluate is built to make it harder and to give your team clear information, and your team makes the decision.
Questions about integrity
Can candidates use AI during the test?
Only where the test is set up for it. The AI Sandbox is an optional task, where your plan includes it. In it, candidates use an AI assistant on purpose to do a real piece of work. Outside that task, the test is meant to show the candidate's own work. Before they start, candidates are told when AI is used and what is checked.
Do you record candidates?
Identity photo and camera checks are optional, where your plan includes them. When your team turns them on for a role, candidates are told about them and give consent first. Candidates can request deletion of their personal data; see our privacy policy for details.
Does this replace human judgement?
No. Integrity checks give your team information, not a verdict. Integrity information on a result is a reason to look closer, and your team makes the decision. No test can promise that nobody ever cheats, so your team's own judgement still matters.
Can we turn checks on or off?
Some protections are part of how every test runs, such as the timer on our servers and saved answers. Others, such as identity photo, camera and integrity checks, depend on your plan and your settings. Bring a role to a demo, and we'll show you what your plan includes.
See it with your own role
Book a demo and bring a role you're hiring for. We'll show you what candidates see and what your team sees.
